City Sound & Events is pleased to announce the 20th edition of the Teatro del Silenzio.

For all music lovers, the world-famous open-air Tuscan theater named after silence has become an iconic site — a place where, time and again, the winds of history blow. On the spectacular stage of the Lajatico arena, the global elite of classical and pop music, as well as cinema and dance, have performed.

In 2025, the Teatro del Silenzio will celebrate its 20th edition of the grand summer concert. A major milestone, it will be marked with a renewed format, which for the first time includes an evening entirely dedicated to a new star of the international music scene.

On Thursday, July 24, a completely original musical evening will take place, full of emotions, music, and surprises: the spotlight will shine on Matteo Bocelli, the young and already much-loved singer who has become a top-tier star, applauded across Europe and beyond.

Having inherited from his father a powerful musicality and that velvet vocal tone — a treasured hallmark of the Bocelli family — Matteo has quickly developed his own artistic maturity and an unmistakable personal style, full of charm and energy.

“The Teatro del Silenzio began as a concert my father held in his hometown,” says Matteo Bocelli,
“but over the years, it has become much more. It has transformed into a week-long celebration of universal love for music and a tribute to the support my father has received throughout his career — giving him the opportunity to share the beauty of his roots and the journey of his life.
After taking part in this event for the past 19 years, I’m still amazed by the love and support that come from all over the world to our small town.
Next year is particularly meaningful, as it will mark the 20th anniversary of the Teatro del Silenzio. And not only that — it will also be the first time I have my own solo concert night. I’m honored and thrilled to announce my concert at the Teatro del Silenzio, this July 2025. I can’t wait to see you all there!”
